The Second District Vol. Fire Department and Rescue Squad hosted a successful fire prevention day on October 11th, welcoming 56 homeschooled and daycare children from the community. This event was designed to teach young participants about fire safety in a fun and interactive way, ensuring that the learning process was both enjoyable and informative. It provided a fantastic chance for the children to acquire important knowledge while participating in a morning dedicated to safety. We thoroughly enjoyed giving the kids a tour of the firehouse.
