For our opening weekend, we’re proud to spotlight the 2nd District Volunteer Fire Department, an organization that held a special place in Bubby’s heart.
Bubby had a deep and enduring connection to the fire department, serving as both a past member and a board member. His involvement was a family tradition, working alongside close friends and relatives, including his cousin, Fuzzy Knott.
One of Bubby’s proudest accomplishments was playing a key role in the construction of the new 2nd District Firehouse. From the initial planning stages to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Bubby was a constant presence on the job site, dedicating his time and energy to the project’s success.
His unwavering commitment to the fire department and his community will always be remembered, and we are honored to continue his legacy by supporting this incredible organization.
