| The Second District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to a motor vehicle collision with entrapment at Piney Point Rd. and Drayden Rd. at approximately 1600 hours.
Chief 6 arrived on the scene with Ambulance 68, established command, and confirmed one patient was heavily trapped with two vehicles located off the roadway. Engine 61, Chief 6A, and Chief 4 subsequently arrived and assisted with the extrication.
One patient was flown to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries. Two additional patients were transported by ground: one to UM Capital Region Medical Center and the other to MedStar St. Mary's Hospital.
