On the afternoon of Thursday September 15th, 2022 Second District Fire and EMS personnel were dispatched to the area of Piney Point Road and Tall Timbers Road in Tall Timbers for a reported motor vehicle accident involving a car versus a motorcycle with serious injuries.
Upon arrival, Fire and EMS crews located a collision between a pickup truck and motorcycle, with serious injuries to one patient,
Fire and EMS personnel began measures to stabilize and package the severely injured patient, who was determined to be the driver of the motorcycle. Following patient packaging and immediate care, the patient was transported to the Second District VFD&RS, to meet Maryland State Police “Trooper 7”. The patient was then air lifted to University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Trauma Center in Largo, MD.
