Members of the SDVFDRS participated in a combined extrication drill on August 30. Members of the Fire Department practiced and honed their skills on gaining access to patients through various extrication techniques while members of the EMS Division practiced their skills on treatment and removal of patients from vehicles involved in collisions. These skills are paramount for delivering the best care possible to our community.
