Hey there Second District! Ya'll have been doing good according to Cheeto! You guys have been getting a lot of calls here lately and been doing good on all of them... it must be hard. Well I also wanted to tell Cheeto good luck in his classes and to keep doing what he's doing... he's very good! He even taught me about Engine 61, Engine 62, and Engine 63. He's very smart when it comes to all that stuff! :) Lastly, I wanted to say thanks to all the guys down there that answer the phone ever so nicely when I called for Cheeto and make fun of the ol' Hollywood Girl! lol. Keep up the good work kiddo's!!!

I attended the St. Mary's fair on Friday night and was very interested in your fire truck on display there. The fire fighter on duty at that time was so nice to me and explained all about the truck and even let me set in the drivers seat. I am only eight years old. I enjoyed talking with the fireman.

I personally wanted to thank SDVFDRS for an outstanding Open House on April 17th. I have two young children (4 & 21 months) who thoroughly enjoyed the day...especially watching Trooper 7 take off !! The auxiliary did a great job with the food. It was nice to have the ice cream available as well. My daughter continues to talk about the day and wears her "whoo whoo" hat as much as possible. It was great to see the surrounding stations, as well as the police, supporting your Open House. My husband and I are both prior fire service members (How. Co-volunteer and Balto. Co.-volunteer and paid, respectfully) and know first-hand the risks and rewards that each and everyone of you make to serve the residents and business community. Keep up the great work.

Our family and many of our neighbors attended the Open House on April 17, 2005. Thanks so much for hosting this event; everyone learned a lot about what you do for the community and everyone had a great time. Nice website, too.

Glad to see Greg Adams still healthy and able to serve. He was chief when I was too young & Dumb but after all these years I still miss all the guys back there.
